Machine vision (system vision) it’s a apply computer vision in day to day life. While computer vision is focused mainly on image processing at the level of hardware, machine vision most often requires the use of additional hardware I/Oand computer networks to transmit information generated by the other process components. In vision based security system a camera is used to monitor a chamber. Image processing is applied to the acquired frame, and determined whether a security alert is required or not.

The board has only one  relay driven by TTL circuit . The board works on 12V but the input signal can come directly from microcontroller output working at 5V to control relays. The regulated power supply accepts unregulated intputs from 12V to 15V AC or DC and gives regulated output of 3.3V  5V and 12V suitable for  projects which needs precise voltage to work. The input can come from step down transformer. Since board has diode  bridge input polarity does not matter.All outputs are brought to screw terminal. There is also an unregulated output voltage to drive high current loads like relays and motors.

Hand vein patterns are unique and universal. Vein pattern is used as biometric feature in recent years. But, it is not very much popular biometric system as compared to other systems like fingerprint, iris etc., because of the higher cost. For conventional algorithm, it is necessary to use high quality images, which demand high-priced collection devices. The two approaches for vein authentication are repeated line tracking and maximum curvature method. Currently we are working on maximum curvature method. Here we are putting forward the new approach for low cost hand dorsa vein pattern acquisition using low cost device and proposing an algorithm to extract features from these low quality images which are used for personal authentication.
