Q: I am trying to interface lcd with this board using pic 16f877a. When I used the sample code given the LCD Shows black boxes in the first row. I am stuck and am unable to find a solution. Kindly help me out in this matter.

Dear Sir,

You cannot use the same board for all the micro controller, this type is of switching is not supported, this module is used for PIC Microcontrollers only.

Q: Is this board supports all type of controllers like 8-Pin,16-Pin controller and programs in C,ASM,C++

The development board only supports 40 PIN ICs, It has ISP pin out for programmingGND,VCC, MCLR, PGCand PGD .You can load the hex file using this pinout.
