There are more chances that the person can hit the vehicle to any obstacle approaching him in the opposite direction due to unconsciousness caused by drinking. Hence, we make a modest attempt to design and develop a simple, low cost alcohol detection android application using an independent microcontroller.

Irrigation system is critical in the development of agriculture of every country. It has been established that efficient irrigation processes has the potential of literally doubling the amount of food a farm processes.

Integrating modern technologies in irrigation management systems is one of the ways of enhancing the irrigation processes to optimize the use of water and electric power consumption.

The system however, depends on the timely application of the water required to meet the water needs of the crops and this is achieved by remote switching of water pump through SMS.

The components of solar powered intelligent drip irrigation system are shown in Fig. Soil moisture sensor is used for real-time collection of crop root soil moisture content and converting it into a signal in the range of Voltage V; and the signal will transformed as knowledge of water requirement of crop. Soil moisture content at the root zone of different crops is collected by using the soil moisture sensor. The threshold limit for the water requirement for a particular crop has been feed to system which in turn controls the operation the control system. The power needed for the operation of the control system has been met with the use of a solar panel and the display will receive the control signal and display the data stored using the sensor from the field.
