In recent times there has been a large growth in the number of small communication networks n the home or offices, cash registers, burglar alarms, computers and their side cells all relay on small interconnected networks . Working Principle:
Here communication between two devices takes place using AC Powerline rather than using Other wires to communicate between devices. AC power line act as a transmitter section wherein data from the microcontroller is transmitted through powerlines.
As shown in the above Block diagram,
it consist of transmitting section(Room2) and receiving section(Room1). The transmitting section consist of keypad and LCD and receiving section consist of relay and sensors.
So whenever corresponding valves are pressed in the Keypad corresponding relay and sensors will get activated,and it will be displayed in the LCD. so in Short one can control appliances of the entire house just by using the existing AC Power supply line.
