Block Diagram:

An upper threshold value and a lower threshold value for Soil Moisture level is set into the System through the Microcontroller. The Soil Moisture Sensor will detect the current moisture level in each segment of land and if that value is less than the Lower Threshold value in any of the segment then the Microcontroller will activate the Relay for that segment which in turn will open the valve for that segment. The relay that switches on the Motor will also be activated which will draw out water from the water tank into the Central pipe line and water will flow into the segments that have an open valve.
